Take your Italian from good to natural

This B2 Italian course is designed for intermediate learners who already have a solid knowledge of Italian and want to improve their fluency, expand their vocabulary, and communicate more naturally through conversation, culture, and authentic materials.

If you already speak Italian quite well but still feel slightly intimidated by fast conversations, newspaper headlines, or Italians discussing everything with great passion, this course is for you.

Discuss real topics and discover contemporary Italy

Through themes such as travel, technology, science, history, politics, and everyday Italian life, you will build confidence in speaking Italian more naturally and effectively in real-world situations.

We will explore contemporary Italy through stories, discussions, historical events, science, technology, politics, and the wonderfully complex habits of Italians. Along the way, we will discuss topics such as past events, future possibilities, healthcare systems, laws, voting rights, and even the fascinating world of Italian bureaucracy.

Develop advanced communication skills

You will learn how to express opinions, report conversations, make hypotheses, tell stories effectively, and use more complex grammatical structures with greater confidence.

The focus is not only on being correct, but also on becoming more natural, precise, and expressive when communicating in Italian.

Learn entirely in Italian with expert guidance

Classes are taught entirely in Italian by Nomad Teacher_Giovanna, a native Italian teacher with extensive experience teaching adult learners at different levels.

Learning through full immersion helps you develop a deeper understanding of the language and become more comfortable with authentic Italian communication. Giovanna will guide you throughout the course, providing explanations, feedback, and support to help you progress with confidence.

Small groups, meaningful conversations

Classes are taught in small groups, ensuring that every student has plenty of opportunities to participate, practise speaking, and receive personalised guidance throughout the course.

Expect lively discussions, practical communication, useful vocabulary, and plenty of opportunities to sound more natural, nuanced, and confident in Italian.

This course is suitable for you if

☛ you have already completed a B1 level course;

☛ you have studied Italian at B2 level before and would like to refresh and strengthen your skills;

☛ you want to expand your vocabulary and gain more confidence with complex grammar structures;

☛ you would like to speak more fluently and express yourself more naturally in Italian;

☛ you enjoy discussing contemporary topics, culture, and real-world issues in class;

☛ you are willing to dedicate some time to homework and independent study between lessons.

PASTA WORKSHOP

We are going to make orecchiette e cavatelli, two typical shapes of fresh pasta from Puglia.

With simple ingredients and the right movements of your hands and fingers, we fill the cutting board with our creations.

We only make pasta together, but we reveal the secrets to making a delicious dish so that you complete your masterpiece after the workshop!

ITALIAN LESSON

The workshop is in (easy) Italian and you’ll be immersing yourself in the cooking vocabulary and in the love for pasta-making in a relaxed atmosphere.

With quizzes and fun activities, you will discover more about the pasta we make and about the cultural aspects of Italy.

We are going to experiment with language and cooking through creative language activities.

This workshop is suitable for you if:

☛ you don’t speak Italian at all but you are not afraid of the challenge and you are good at using all your senses to understand a new language;

☛ you understand and speak Italian and you want to practice your listening skills in Italian while learning more cooking vocabulary;

COOKING WORKSHOP

The most classic of dishes with the most classic of ingredients: spaghetti with tomato sauce ... an ode to simplicity!

Starting from similar ingredients, we make two types of spaghetti dishes with tomato sauces, both from South Italy.

ITALIAN LESSON

The workshop is in Italian and we would like to reproduce online the atmosphere of an Italian kitchen where people cook together, drink a glass of wine, chitchat, and share moments together in a relaxed atmosphere.

You’ll be involved in conversation activities and of course, you’ll be immersing yourself in the cooking vocabulary and in the love for cooking. With quizzes and fun activities, you will discover more about the dish we make and about the cultural aspects of Italy.
